EdCamp Ukraine NGO

A super-community of Ukrainian teachers who want to prepare children and youth for the best self-realization in a rapidly changing world, interact with students as peers, and have passion for their work. We motivate educators to develop and share their experiences, generate creative ideas, inspire, and support each other. The Ukrainian community operates within the global EdCamp movement and under its principles, and is the most active and numerous outside of the founding country.

The organization also works on implementing the New Ukrainian School reform.

Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Education, Science, and Innovation

The Committee deals with improving education and science, promotes the development of scientific and technical activities, provides legal status and social protection to scientific, pedagogical, and research workers, popularizes innovative activities and the development of high technologies, ensures the conduct of scientific and scientific-technical expertise.

Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

The goal of the Ministry is to formulate and implement the state policy in the field of education and science, namely: to create conditions for everyone to receive complete general secondary education, for the country to develop scientific and scientific-technical potential and innovations, for our education system to be integrated into the global one while preserving national interests.

Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment

UCEQA is a governmental agency that conducts independent assessment of learning outcomes at designated levels of education and monitoring studies of education quality. UCEQA prepares and runs such tests as the external independent evaluation, national multi-subject test, PISA international student assessment program, and certification of educators.

Ukrainian Online School

A modern educational online platform for middle and high school students, perfectly suited for blended and distance learning. All educational materials are freely available, verified by expertise, and meet state educational standards. The project provides equal opportunities of access to quality educational content for Ukrainian students and teachers.

The New Ukrainian School portal

A website created through a partnership between the Smart Osvita NGO and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which stays continuously active. The resource informs about the reform progress and innovations in the educational environment, analyzes the best practices in Ukraine and internationally, provides expert answers to important questions on topics that are part of the reform and important for its implementation, communicates with the readers directly through feedback forms, delves into complex topics, and explains the reform details in simple terms.

Veteranka Movement

The first and only community of Ukrainian women with military experience created by female veterans in 2018. Today, it is the largest community of about 1,000 women veterans and servicewomen of Ukraine joined by proactive female volunteers who reinforce each other. The organization provides support to the army, protects the rights of women veterans and active servicewomen, and promotes equal rights and opportunities through lawmaking.

VPO Ukraine NGO

An association of the volunteers and experts in various fields, the representatives of businesses, charitable foundations, local authorities and parliamentarians. They have united to provide comprehensive support to IDPs and their families. Movement for Victory and Unification!

Voices of Children Charitable Foundation

The mission of the foundation is that no child in Ukraine should be left alone with the experience of war. The foundation provides individual support to children and their families, works with communities and institutions for children across the country in the following areas: psychosocial support, humanitarian aid, legal support, and advocacy of the children’s rights.

International Ukrainian School in Lithuania

The school was established in 2022 at the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania. It has branches in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda,and Šiauliai, with a total of almost 3,000 students and 350 teachers. Education is provided in Ukrainian according to curricula approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with a possibility to obtain a government-approved certificate of complete secondary education of Ukraine.

“International Ukrainian School” Public Lyceum

A government-funded (public) educational institution that implements the right of Ukrainian citizens who are permanently or temporarily residing abroad and in Crimea to obtain high-quality general secondary education. Students can take classes independently, as external students. The lyceum cooperates with civil society organizations abroad that have educational centers.

“School of Superheroes” Public Institution

These are learning spaces for children who must stay in hospitals for a long time. 15 educational centers constantly operate at the Ukrainian healthcare facilities. Teaching children and bringing them the joy of childhood even within hospital walls.

DECIDE Swiss-Ukrainian Project

Decentralization for Improved Democratic Education (DECIDE) is implemented in Ukraine by a consortium of DOCCU NGO and the Pedagogical University Zurich (Switzerland) with support of Switzerland. The project aims at enhancing two key reforms, those of education and decentralization.

Gen.Ukrainian

A civil society organization that focuses on studying childhood in times of war and minimizing its traumatic consequences for the children in Ukraine. Gen.Ukrainian provides professional psychological assistance for mental rehabilitation of children and adolescents who have faced the horrors of the war, like a loss of parents, captivity, forced deportation; it organizes psychological workshops and develops innovative programs. The organization conducts research and actively studies the matter of childhood amid the war, doing everything possible to prevent the war from stealing children’s childhood and becoming a burden in their future.
