Platform designed to support students who face challenges in learning.

This is POVIR!

It is being implemented by the Ukrainian Institute of Education Development, EdCamp Ukraine NGO, Smart Osvita NGO in cooperation with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. Already, 2,000 children have begun their studies (and the actual approbation of the platform).

POVIR is a place where middle and high school students study together with educators who have been specially trained to reduce educational losses and potentially gaps. Students will be able to "catch up" on Math, Ukrainian and English.

Cooperation takes place in a safe, friendly, and gamified online space, with attention to the unique needs of each student and the development of their life skills, free of charge for students and their families.

The operation of the platform is based on the leading international experience, in particular that of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, and is aligned with the recommendations of the Ukrainian educational authorities. The initiative is recommended for inclusion in the National Program for Overcoming Educational Losses and Educational Gaps at the General Secondary Education Level Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic and Full-scale War for the Period from 2023 to 2030.

Why the POVIR platform?

For students, it’s an opportunity to overcome learning challenges and grow in this process with benefit and pleasure.

For educational institutions, parents and caregivers — to create the third place apart from school and home, where a child receives support in learning.

For the government — as a comprehensive solution to reduce educational losses and gaps.
