POVIR Camp: A Meaningful Summer for Children and Teenagers
On International Children’s Day, a unique educational initiative — «POVIR Camp» — was launched. This is a new summer format from the POVIR project team, designed to combine learning, inspiration, and practice, creating an environment where curiosity and development become the main driving forces for children and teenagers.
What is «POVIR Camp»?
«POVIR Camp» is an intensive seven-week summer program. Its goal is to help students improve their knowledge using the POVIR model, receive support, and find motivation for learning. The format includes:
Work Formats
«One-on-One» — individual online meetings with SEN teachers who support the development of social-emotional skills and help children overcome challenges.
Sprints — short intensives in Ukrainian, mathematics, and English, which can be combined depending on the child’s needs.
Marathon — 10 group subject lessons and 7 individual «One-on-One» sessions that allow for deeper learning and practice.
An Atmosphere of Creativity and Growth
A special highlight of the camp is the music program and English practice with native speakers. American conductor and educator Connie Fortunato, founder of Music Camp International, joined the initiative to provide children with a unique experience of combining music, creativity, and language practice.
Flexible Schedule and Support
«POVIR Camp» runs from June 1 to July 20, 2025. Classes are held daily from 12:00 to 18:00, and participation is organized in convenient parallels for children. Additionally, a support service helps participants with registration and platform use.
Achievements and Motivation
Each participant has their own «guidebook» to track progress and can earn «vircoins» for activity, which can be exchanged for branded gifts. The camp is scheduled to end on July 20, with gift delivery planned for August.
Why is this important?
«POVIR Camp» is not only about learning — it is an environment for self-development, inspiration, and a sense of community. It gives children the chance to feel more confident in their studies, discover new talents, and expand their opportunities.
