Music at POVIR
As part of the summer program «POVIR Camp», children have the opportunity not only to improve their knowledge in school subjects but also to discover new creative horizons. One of the key innovative components is the direction «Music at POVIR», implemented under the Musedics program from Music Camp International led by American conductor and educator Connie Fortunato.
The Uniqueness of the Music Program
The music program combines learning to play the recorder and choral singing, creating an atmosphere of collective creativity and self-expression. Importantly, every child who wishes to participate will receive instruments for learning. Classes are held twice a week with fixed groups, fostering team spirit and responsibility.
Selection and Motivation
Children with high motivation and readiness to attend all classes are selected for the music program. Priority is given to students with a higher level of English proficiency, as the lessons involve practicing communication with native speakers in a musical environment. A total of three groups of 12 participants each will be formed, ensuring an individual approach and support for every child.
Technical and Language Support
Each class is accompanied by technical support and the presence of interpreters, making learning accessible and comfortable. This allows children to fully immerse themselves in the world of music without worrying about language barriers or technical difficulties.
Schedule and Format
Music group sessions are planned for the afternoon. The three groups will start at 15:00, 16:00, and 17:00, followed by a joint musical session for all participants. This format combines individual skill development with inspiring collective playing and singing.
Music as a Path to Development
«Music at POVIR» is not only about learning an instrument or singing. It is an opportunity to feel the power of art as a tool of unity, to unlock creative potential, and at the same time improve English language skills. Children are given the chance to combine learning with inspiration, while the camp becomes a true laboratory of harmony between knowledge and emotions.
POVIR Camp proves that learning can be not only useful but also exciting. Music becomes the space where a child learns to listen, create, and act together with others.
